One of the most energetic and eclectic cities in the world is Tokyo. Located in Tokyo’s bustling Meguro Street, CLASKA is a multi faceted hotel, restaurant/bar and gallery/shop, that have released a bilingual (Japanese/English) Tokyo guidebook, Tokyo by Tokyo.
Compiled with extensive input by 70 or so of Tokyo’s finest creative minds and it invites you to explore over 200 spots Tokyo wide. This will be perfect for creatives from around the world as it is not just a city guidebook but catered for creative and curious visitors who want to see more than the usual tourist spots and get an experience of the real Tokyo. Another useful feature of this book is that all the spots are linked with Google Maps, which is a great way to explore interactively online before your journey to Tokyo.
The format is “Shinsho size” which is standard novel size and printed on a lightweight paper stock for easy transportation. The launch night earlier this month had over 500 visitors all collecting a free copy. The book is currently only on sale in Japan but should become available in the UK in the coming weeks.
