Rick ‘Face37′ Banks has been in touch to tell me about his latest offering, Type Trumps 2, that are available to buy at select retailers and online now.
I first met Rick a few years back now when he came to SEA looking for a job. A fresh faced Graduate, amongst other interesting projects in his portfolio were ‘Type Trumps’, an idea so simple and strong it was clear it would do well in the real world (one of those ‘wish I’d thought of that’ moments).
3 years later after a lot of hard work and investment I’m pleased to say Type Trumps are going from strength to strength for him. They are doing so well in fact that the Sorrell Foundation have recently put them forward to the Education Board in the UK as a valuable tool for design students. Impressive stuff.
With the studio Secret Santa just around the corner these fit nicely in the ‘£10 or under’ bracket. Only a matter of time before the 2 player iPhone App launches next, surely?!
