I grew up in a small rural town in Sweden. For outsiders it was notable only for its steel mill and a semi-successful speedway racing-team. For some people though, it was also famous for its citizens great interest in extreme music. I probably wouldn’t be exaggerating if I said that for a while we had the most extreme metal bands per capita in Europe. More

This month the Government put a new law in place in a bid to reduce the 87,000 people prematurely killed in England each year by the effects of smoking. Cigarette packaging must now display shocking images including cancerous tumours, rotting lungs and clogged arteries, all in an attempt to encourage people to ‘kick the habit’. More
